Jim Swain

Jim has over 30 years of experience in the manufacturing industry, joining the Synergis Engineering Design Solutions technical team in 1997. Before becoming a Synergis Applications Consultant, Jim worked in the consumer electronics & automotive industries as a design engineer, test engineer, and CAD administrator. Jim is a certified AutoCAD & Autodesk Inventor Expert and has used that expertise to present at Autodesk University since 2003. He earned both his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Mechanical Engineering from Lehigh University.

As an Applications Consultant at Synergis, you’ll find Jim instructing various training classes like AutoCAD, AutoCAD Electrical, and Inventor Essentials, conducting custom & one-on-one manufacturing training, and working with customers on consulting and modeling services. You’ll also recognize Jim as the voice behind many of our live manufacturing webinars and tutorials.
