David Taylor

David joined the Synergis Engineering Design Solutions team in 2019 with 20 years of design experience. Prior to becoming part of the Synergis technical team, David held various positions including Mechanical Designer, CAD System Analyst, and System Specialist, where he was instrumental in establishing design standards, support, data management, and technology upgrades for a global industry leader. David has used his experience and expertise in AutoCAD, Autodesk Inventor, Autodesk Vault, and 3D laser scanning as a regular presenter at Autodesk University on topics ranging from Generative Design, Vault Automation.

As an Applications Consultant and Innovation & Design Strategist here at Synergis, David works with manufacturing clients on custom implementation, consulting, and training projects; when he’s not with clients, he is responsible for developing innovative offerings like a Customer Web Portal to support Synergis customers. His unique ability to push the limits of software, methodology, and processes consistently delivers results to increase our customer’s productivity.
